About

Sojus Records Network is a so-called NETLABEL.

Established in 1997, Sojus Records came into existence due to the founder’s interest in the constantly evolving netlabel culture. In later life, it fragmented into 4 sub-labels, in order to differentiate between the styles it caters for. The ultimate goal of Sojus is quite simple, to provide a platform for musicians who make music for non-monetary reasons. There’s no need for any ideological bull, music is free, and the music industry is destined to perish, like it or not. In the meantime, international netlabels, thanks to their appreciative and open-minded approach, deliver great music day by day.

Q: May I use Sojus material in my netlabel dj-mix?
A: All our original releases are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. We explicitly authorize the use of our original releases during not-for-profit DJ performances, radio broadcasts and in online DJ mixes. We do ask that you notify us of your use for our own curiosity and that Sojus and the album artist are attributed and linked to where possible. So, you are free to download them, share them, copy them, mix them into your sets, whatever you wish really, just so long as anything you do with our music is not done for profit, and that the original artist receives full credit for the track.
